Mr. Clarence Burke Jr. 88 of 518 Woodville Rd. Hertford NC. left from labor to reward on May 18, 2017 at Sentara Albermarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City.

 Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Evangelical Methodist Church. 820 Old Okisko Road, Elizabeth City, with  Rev. William "Chug" Sawyer officiating.

Mr. Burke leaves to cherish his memories a wife: Emma Seymore Burke, one daughter Carol Burke Boney(Dwight) five sons: Paul Burke, Don Burke(Arretha) Dr. Travis Burke, Damion Burke(Penny) four sisters: Katherine Tillett, Marion B. Ruff(Billy), Yvonne Robinson, Dorothy Burke, 17grandchildren, 17great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Mr. Burke's remains rest in the care of Stallings Memorial Chapel, Hertford,NC
