Judah Amos Person, Sr., 100, died on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Elizabeth CityHealth & Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral Sunday, December 23, 2018 at 10 a.m. at 3927 Bridge Rd., Suffolk, VA (Temple Beth El). Visitation Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Stallings Funeral Home. Burial at Belleville Cemetery, Bridge Road, Suffolk, VA. Elder Ezra Locke and Elder Joseph Denson, will be officiating.

Judah was the associate Minister of Fifth Tabernacle, 906 Parkview Drive, Elizabeth City.

He is preceded in death by his father, Bishop Thomas C. Person, mother; St. Carrie B. Leake Person, and spouse; St. Ruth M. Person.

He is survived by his son; Judah A. Person, Jr., of Virginia and sister; Ruth Ragland of Washington, DC., sister in law; Margaret E. Smith, foster grandson Moshe Thomas, and a host of neices and nephews along with many grand-god-children.

Stallings Funeral Home of Elizabeth City is in charge of arrangements.
