Deacon Joseph Mattew Dozier, 82, died October 19, 2018.
Funeral will be Saturday, October 27, 2018
at 1:00 pm at Christian Home Baptist Church.
Rev. George Harper will be officiating and Christopher

He was a deacon at New Willow Grove Baptist Church, member of the male choir, and a loving
father and grandfather. He will be truly missed. He was the son of the late Joseph and Hattir Dozier
and the husband of the late Easter T. Dozier. Survivors include 2 daughters, Wanda A. Dozier,
Katie Staton (Patrick); 1 son, Christopher L. Dozier (Kia); 1 sister, Beverly Franklin (Larry); 2 sisters-inlaw,
Deborah Newsome, Ivy Holley; godchild, Lisa Hunter; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren
and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
