 Barbara Tyler,75 of 100 Burkley Trailer Ct. Elizabeth City, NC  was called from labor to reward on March 17,2017 at her home.

Celebration of Life will held on Saturday March 25,2017 at 1:00p.m. at Eastern Star Church of God In Christ with Elder J.C. Purkett Pastor and Eulogist. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Friday March 24,2017 from 5-7.

Mrs. Barbara leaves to cherish her memories Tina Tyler of Newark,NJ, Donna Michelle Tyler(Alonzo) South Mills,NC, William Tyler(Debbie) Jersey City,NJ and Gary Tyler(Amanda) Newark,NJ. She also help raised her grandchildren Ashley Tyler (Keyona) and Andre Dozier, 14 grandchildren 7 great grandchildren. Siblings: Clarice Cherry-Combs(Alton) Linda Bennett(Louis) Brenda Johnson(Vernon) and Carolyn Pledger all of Elizabeth City,NC. She had 8 sibling from her Cherry family. Brother-in-law James Tyler Elizabeth City, NC Sister-in-law. Regina Pledger Newark,NJ.She was preceded in death by brothers Ervin Pledger Jr. and Earl Cherry. She leaves behind a host of nieces,nephews, cousins, friends, and church family.

Mrs. Tyler's remains rest in the care of Stallings Funeral Home of Elizabeth City,NC
