ELIZABETH CITY - Cleveland Leon Armstrong 93 died Friday August 10,2018.
Funeral Friday, August 17, 2018 at 12 noon at Faith and Victory Christian Center Church, 1048 Horseshoe Road, with Dr. Larry Brown, Pastor.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Stallings Funeral Home Elizabeth City NC. from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
He worked at Kenyon Bailey supply for over 50 years.
Mr. Armstrong was the son of the late James Armstrong and Mahalia Griffin Armstrong, and the widower of Cora Bell Perkins Armstrong. He was predeceased by a son, Dennis Spruill, and an adopted daughter, Inez Perkins Lee.
Survivors include two grandsons, Willie Perkins (Cheryl) of Elizabeth City and James Lee(Maria) of Las Vegas, NV; two brothers, Joseph Armstrong (Tammer) and John Armstrong; nine great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
