Our beloved, Cora Nixon departed from this earthly life on Thursday, January 7, 2021.
Celebration of life for Cora Nixon will be Saturday January 16, 2021 at Williams family Cemetery in Barco North Carolina, at 12 noon.Visitation will be Friday January 15, 2021 at Stallings Funeral Home from 5 to 7 pm.
Preceded in death by her daughter Inez Rebecca (Becky) Bailey.
Those left to Cherish her memories and everlasting love are her faithful husband Linwood Nixon of the home; her devoted sons, William F. Bailey Jr. (Bea)of Chesapeake Va.; Anthony S. Bailey (Christina) Sligo N.C. ; thirteen grandchildren Demitrie Felton, Latisha Mcsweeney, Shakell Spence, Shanae Bailey, Malesha Turner, Lanisha Turner, Kayla Bailey, David Tillman, Hailey Andrews, Israel Bailey, Iyanna Bailey, Savannah Bailey, Toni Bailey; ten great grandchildren, her beloved siblings: two Sisters Donna Ferebee (Carl) Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; Arlene Humphrey (Leamon) Elizabeth City, N.C.; three brothers, Charlie Williams Jr. (Virginia) Powells Point N.C.; Ralph Williams Barco, N.C.; Robert Williams (Edna) Winfall N.C.; one Aunt, Minnie June Seymore, Moyock N.C.; one Uncle, Billy Williams (Gloria) Barco N.C.; two sister in-laws, Ethel Frances Nixon, and Cynthia Powell , Portsmouth Va.; two brother in-laws Charles Nixon (Gwendolyn) Portsmouth Va.; James Nixon, Norfolk Va. two special cousins Ruth Martin (Gin) Barco, N.C.; Lessie Alston (Nink) Chesapeake Va.; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
