David (DayBoy) Gibbs

David “DayBoy” Gibbs of Elizabeth City, NC departed from this earthly life on Saturday, December 4, 2021.

Life Celebration Services will take place on Monday December 13, 2021 at 1 pm on the Campus of the College of the Albemarle in the Performing Arts Center.A viewing will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 pm - 6 pm.

David leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Juanita B. Gibbs; two daughters, Dadryn Johnson and Darian Dillard; two sons, Darris Gibbs and Demetre Gibbs; ten grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; six sisters, Wanda Jones, Sheila Purnell, Millicent Freeman; Cynthia Freeman, Myra Graham and Altricia Felton(Phillip); four brothers, Vincent Freeman, Kelvin Freeman(Heather), Delvin Freeman(Lorraine) and Kearney Freeman (Valerie); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Stallings Funeral Home will be assisting the Gibbs family with excellence and care during their time of bereavement.
