Mrs. Dorothy Mae Etheridge of 498 New Road, Weeksville, NC transitioned from labor to reward on Monday March 14, 2017 at Heritage Care of Elizabeth City.

Celebration of Life will be held at Whiteville Grove A.M.E. Zion Church on Saturday March 18,2017 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Samuel T. Stallings Eulogist and Rev. William Bonner, Pastor. Burial will follow in the Etheridge Family Cemetery.There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Friday March 17,2017 from 5-7

Mother Etheridge leaves her memories with one son John Etheridge(Olivia) grandchildren: Hercules Jr.(Quandetta),Cheryl, Lora Ann(Wayne), Eula(Melvin),Felicia, Sheri(Patrick),Vanessa(Kenny),Michael(Pamela), and Shaquita(Billy), 28 great-grandchildren, 22 great-great-grandchildren: an aunt Rebbie Morris; a sister-in-law, Virgia Spellman, and a host of relatives and friends.

Mrs. Etheridge's  remains rest in the care of Stallings Funeral Home, Elizabeth City,NC
