Edmond A. Bailey Sr.

Edmond A. Bailey Sr., age 68, of Barco,
NC transitioned to his heavenly home during the early morning on
August 31, 2018. Mr.Bailey was a member of Weeping Mary Disciples
of Christ. He graduated from Currituck Union
School and ECSU. He worked in the Currituck
Public School System as a P.E. teacher, coach
and mentor. He was a loving and wonderful
father, grandfather and brother.
A celebration will take place on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at
11 a.m. at Currituck Middle School Auditorium. Elder
Marcus Etheridge will be delivering the eulogy.
Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by his parents,
Ulysses and Classie Bailey and his wife, Annette
Berry Bailey.He leaves behind one daughter, Dora Melissa
Bradwell (Roosevelt); one son, Edmond A. Bailey
Jr. (TaKiyah); four sisters, Lilly Mae Hoffler
(Bruce), Adeline Tolson, Ada Bailey and Catherine
Simpson (Dewey); one brother, Larry Bailey; and
nine grandchildren.
