George Jennings

Our beloved George Jennings departed from this life on December 24, 2020.

Celebration of life for George R. Jennings will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Cedarwood Cemetery in Hertford NC. Service will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Antonio Williams as the Eulogist.

George Jennings was the son of the late Herber and Sally Jennings. He was married to his wife of 61 years Annie Welch Jennings. He was a member of the mass choir at Corner Stone Missionary Baptist Church. He also served at American Legion post 223.

He leaves to cherish one daughter Barbara A. Jennings of the home. Two grandchildren Corey Highsmith and Tiffany Swindell. Two great grandchildren Dorian K. Highsmith and Alivia Swindell, along with a host of family and friends.

Stallings Funeral Home will be serving the Jennings family with excellence and care during their time of bereavement.
