Irene Nixon departed from this earthly life on June 25, 2026.

Her life will be celebrated on Wednesday July 1, 2026 beginning at 1:00pm at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Hertford, North Carolina. She will lie in repose from 12:00pm until time of service.
