James L. Savage

James Savage, a believer in Christ Jesus departed from his early body on May 3, 2021. 

 

James Savage life will be celebrated on Tuesday May 11, 2021 1pm at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church Gates, NC 27937.A viewing of James will take place at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. We are following all COVID-19 regulations

 

He was born in Gates County, NC but has been a resident in Elizabeth City, NC for over 50 years. He enjoyed  working

at our Elizabeth City Coast Guard for over 40 years. He was a very kind father and husband.

James loved all his family members. He leaves to cherish his memories: 2 sons Alex Beamon of Charlotte NC and Paris Savage of Elizabeth City. His 3 daughters: Hellen Riddick of New Haven Connecticut, Karen Savage of Elizabeth City, and Gina Bonsu of Elizabeth City. 
James adored his 4 Grandchildren and 1 great- grandchild.  He loved spending time and taking pictures of these sweet children. 
James had three brother -in-laws: Michel Beamon (Lucy), Lary Beamon (Dorothy ) and Lloyd Beamon (Pamela). 
James 3- sister in-laws include: Louis Hollis, Clara Ruffin, and Mary Johnson. Special cousins: Brenda Wilson, Sheri Smith, Edward Armstrong, Linda Armstrong, the Lasiter family of Gates County, and many friends of Elizabeth City .
