Jean White

Our beloved, Jean White departed from this earthly life on Thursday, April 22, 2021.

Jean life will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 One o’clock in the afternoon at New Ramoth Gilead Baptist Church Elizabeth City, NC 27909.A viewing of Jean  earthly remains will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. We are following all COVID-19 regulations. 

Jean Selton White was born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, on July 25, 1955, by the late Edna and Selton Brockett. She departed this life on Thursday, April 22, 2021.

She took pride in caring for her patients and was compassionate to others and their needs. She was well loved by her patients. She was the life of the party. She was a member of New RamothGilead Missionary Church, where she served in the choir. She was united in marriage to Jackie White.  To this union, six sons and one daughter.

Jean leaves behind to cherish her memories: her loving husband Jackie White of Elizabeth City, NC; four sons, Jackie White (Betty) of Fayetteville, NC, Lavon White (Audrey) of Hampton, VA, Trovon White (Bisceglia) of Elizabeth City, NC, Jerel White (Latoria) of Elizabeth City, NC; one daughter, TonyeniaWhite of Elizabeth City, NC; two sister, Virginia Brockett and Catherine Brockett (Tommy) of Elizabeth City, NC; ninegrandchildren, Jaquan Fayton, Tykera Fayton, ArkequnnaFayton, Kaleisha Fayton (great-grandson: Jakeim Taylor), Darnesha Fayton, Carlie Hawkins (great-grandson: MajidSalahuddin), Armani White, Shakiah White and Trovon White; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

She joins two sons in heaven, Darrius and Terrance White.
