Our beloved, Joseph R. Hyder transitioned from this earthly life on Monday, February 1, 2021.
Life Celebration Services will take place on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at Memorial Missionary Baptist Church. A walk-through viewing will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. We are following all COVID-19 restrictions. Mask are required. The services will be live-streamed on Stallings Funeral Home Facebook page.
Joe was the father of two beautiful children; one daughter, Dasia Jana Hyder born August 16, 1998 and one son Jamari Tyrek Ishman born April 1st 2000. In February 2009, Joe met the love of his life Sheena Renae Hyder. September 10, 2011 they joined together in Holy Matrimony. Joe was the bonus father to Morice Tate (Corrisa), Keturah Wicks (Travis), Kayla Young (Micah) and Aprille Jones
(Esiah). He was “Papa Joe” to his 17 grandchildren, "Uncle Joe" to his two special nieces Sasha Hyder and Royal Price and one nephew Dacori Hyder.
Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Bailey Hyder, his father Joseph Otto Hyder Sr. and his godson Zylek Crutch. He is survived by his beautiful wife Sheena of 9 years, his sister Dayna Hyder Dance (Ricky), his children, his bonus
children, his grandchildren, special friends Tony, Moe, Gerald, Pam, Donnie, Roy Jr. and a host of aunts, uncles, in-laws, cousins and friends.
