ELIZABETH CITY - Joyce Odessa HintonSnowden went to be with the lord on September
6 2018. Joyce was born to Sherman Hinton and Odessa Freeman Hinton.
She was the eight of nine children. Joyce married Cornelius Snowden III who preceded her in
death. She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Ella Whitehurst, Hallie Halsey, and Viola Felton
Johnson and her brothers, Sherman Hinton Jr. James Hinton, and Louis Hinton.
She is survived by two sisters Frannie Walker and Pearlie Howell.
Celebration of life will be Wednesday September 12, 2018 at 12 noon at Stallings Funeral Home
Rev. Timothy Stallings Sr Eulogist. Visitation will be Tuesday September 11, 2018 at Stallings Funeral
