Our beloved, Melissa Temple departed from this earthly life on Friday, November 5, 2021.

Services will take place Monday November 15, 2021 at 12 noon, Dove’s Landing Cemetery. A walk-through viewing will take place at the funeral home on Monday November 15, 2021 from 11a.m until 12 noon. Mask are required.

Melissa departed this life on November 5, 2021. She is preceded in death by her mother Grace Temple Hyder; Father George Williams Jr; and two brothers Michael Temple and Ban Zolla Lee.

Melissa leaves to cherish her fond memories; her Stepfather, Roy Hyder, Sr of Elizabeth City, two sistersDonna McDonald (Kenny) of Stafford, VA and Michelle Elliott (James) of Douglasville, GA; three brothers; Roy Hyder Jr., Donnie Hyder (Selma) of Atlanta, GA and Matthew Williams of Uniondale, NY; two maternal aunts (Stella Goff and Paulette Temple), four paternal aunts (Magdaline “Maggie” Wesley, Gwendolyn Herring, Caroline Carver and Eulanda Williams); two maternal uncles (Ellis Temple and Bobby Temple), one paternal uncle (Charles Williams) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and two special, devoted friends Lorna Spann and Rita Walden.

Stallings Funeral Home will be assisting the Temple  family with excellence and care during their time of bereavement.
