Minnie Lee Spence-White

Minnie Lee Spence-White 100, of Norfolk Va, died on Sunday August 12, 2018 at Bon Secours Depaul Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted at Providence Baptist Church in Shawboro, NC on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 1 PM with Pastor Tyrone Smith, Eulogist Minister Anthony White. Visitation will be Friday, August 17, 2018 at Stallings Funeral Home.

She joined Wilson Grove AME Zion at an early age, She was a loving mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law. She liked to garden, sew and needlepoint. 

Mrs. Spence-White was the daughter of the late Harry Ray Spence and Minnie Lee Spencer Spence, and the widow of Linwood Roosevelt White.

She is survived by daughters Carolyn Kee (James) of Norfolk, VA, Katherine White of Elizabeth City, NC, Virginia Williams (Charlie) of Powells Point, NC, and Valerie Spence Jacoks (Donald); two grandchildren, nine great-grand children, two great-great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
