Ritchie W. Walker

Ritchie Wendell Walker transitioned from the earthly realm to eternal rest on June 3, 2026. 

Ritchie Wendell Walker was born on September 12, 1969, in Pasquotank County, North Carolina, to the late Milton Walker, Sr. and Beulah Walker. He was preceded in death by his father, Milton Walker, Sr.; his brother, Milton Walker, Jr.; and his grandparents, Ernest and Laurabell Walker, and Curtis Perry and Beatrice Coleman.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Deloris White and Latoria Gibson (Travis Gibson). He is also survived by five aunts: Fannie Walker, Estelle Walker, Donna Farrow, Mary Coleman, and Sandra Bizzell; and one uncle, James Williams.

Ritchie also leaves behind six nephews: Marcus Hinton, Jon’MirLawton, Travis Gibson, Eddie Walker, Jr., Trace Gibson, and Chance Gibson; and four nieces: Nakyra Brickhouse Culbreath (Micah Culbreath), Blessing Walker, Seven Gibson, and Shane White.

He is further survived by two great-nieces, Trinity White and Choyce Rodgers; two great-nephews, Taylor Hinton and Mace Culbreath; along with a host of cousins, friends, and loved ones, including his beloved cousin Vicki Parker.

Please join us on Saturday, June 20, 2026, as we celebrate and honor the life of Ritchie. A memorial service will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Stallings Funeral Home in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.

There will be no viewing or repass.

Family, friends, and coworkers may have flowers, cards, and special deliveries sent to Stallings Funeral Home on Friday, June 19, 2026. Cards and special gifts may also be brought on the day of the memorial service.

We will miss Ritchie's warm smile, infectious laugh, and loving spirit. However, we find comfort in God's Word, which reminds us, "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" (2 Corinthians 5:8). Ritchie loved the Lord with all his heart. 

Though he is no longer with us in body, his memory, love, and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
