Our beloved, Roosevelt Walker departed from this earthly life on Thursday, April 13, 2023. 

Life Celebration Services for Roosevelt Walker will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023, 1:00 pm, at Poole's Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Hertford, NC. The family will begin receiving friends and loved ones at his home 663 Banks Rd Elizabeth City, NC beginning Monday, April 17 from 1pm - 6pm nightly. A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, from 5pm - 7pm.

Roosevelt was preceded in death by his ten siblings: his brothers, Joe, Charlie, Milton Sr., Daniel Lee, and Earnest Jr.; and his sisters, Essie, Louise, Eula, Louella, and Laura.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his only son, William Sr. (Adriane) of Clayton, NC; three grandchildren: William Jr., Jirah, and C. J.; his “Better Half”, Jessie Mae Riddick of Elizabeth City; nephew and niece he raised Ronnie Bryant (Vanessa and Jonovon) of Gulfport, MS and Patricia Donaldson of Winston-Salem, NC; two special nieces, Patricia “Pat” Ferebee (Ronnie) and Sherrie “Yvette” Spellman (Darnell) of Elizabeth City; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and loved ones.

Stallings Funeral Home will be assisting the Walker family with excellence and care during their time of bereavement.
