Ruby Spence Dunston entered eternal rest on Saturday September 5, 2020.

Celebration of life for Ruby Spence Dunston will be Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 10:30 am at Memory gardens cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, September 11, 2020 at The United House of Prayer  for All People 502 Main Street South Mills NC from 5 to 7. In the event of rain the services will be held at The United House of Prayer for All People  in South Mills NC Elder S.B.Watts Pastor and Eulogist.
Ruby was a Marion Anderson High School graduate and a lifetime member of The United House of Prayer for All People. 

She was proceeded in death by: husband Willie Dunston, parents Walter & Grace Spence, son Forest Spence and brothers Walter A. Spence & Ronnie C. Spence. Ruby leaves to cherish her memories one daughter Althea Spence Crespo of Elizabeth City, N.C. One sister Cynthia Spence, of Elizabeth City, N.C. One granddaughter Tayvonjula Spence,  of Elizabeth City, N.C. Two grandsons Mandell Spence of Elizabeth City, N.C. Jerrod Patterson, 10 great-grandchildren. One Uncle Charlie Mitchell of Elizabeth City, N.C. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with. The family appreciates all of the prayers and thoughts extended during this time.
