Walter L. Commander departed from this earthly life on October 31, 2022.

Homegoing Service for Walter L. Commander  will be Sunday November 6, 2022 at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church at 1:30 pm.Visitation will be Saturday at the funeral  home from 5 pm - 7 pm.

Walter L. Commander was a loving husband and father. He leaves to mourn his wife: Golena Commander, two daughters Christine Graham (Donald) Lucy Commander Reid of Deleware. 12 grand children, 10 great grand children and 1 great great grand child. Host of relatives and friends. Walter married to the late Carolyn Banks Commander until her demise.
